(More customer reviews)I bought this radio for a garage radio.
I was specifically looking for a radio that I could connect an MP3 player to it.
This was exactly what I was looking for, and the price made it even better.
I figured since it didnt look the most durable and since its going to be out in the garage it probably wont last very long...
But I mounted the radio and the speakers under cupboards ( rigged it up with the sticky velcro stuff- there is nothing on the radio or the speakers that would let you mount then otherwise )so it would be out of the way.
I was worried the speakers wouldnt be loud enough to be able to hear the music ontop of me working on projects, my car, using power tools, etc...
But it actually isnt bad. I can turn it all the way up and sounds pretty good-- It doesnt have bass or isnt as clear as my car stereo or my home stereo-- but its great for my garage or even in the bedroom or office it would be perfect.
It doesnt charge the IPod or MP3 player-- but its still a good little radio.
For the MP3 player there is a connector on the radio that plugs right into where the headphones would.
I am happy with my purchase and for the price cant really beat it!
