(More customer reviews)There's battery backup for your time and settings, but not for the alarm. I need the assurance that if the power goes off, SOME sort of alarm will still wake me. I returned it. Other than that, however, it seemed fine. Good sound quality, nice design, seemed well-built. If I had just been purchasing a set of speakers for my iPod that also had a clock, I would strongly consider this model.
