(More customer reviews)I bought this to use with my ipod when I didnt want to use earbuds. It is my second one. I gave the 1st one (in black) to my husband. He wanted one for his office to use to charge his iphone as well as play his music. I went looking for another and found it in pink (matches my ipod:). It has a really good sound for the price, is light weight and packs easily. I have not tried using batteries because I haven't needed to. I have not used the radio either but I didn't buy it for that. If you are looking for something inexpensive, small and moble with good sound quality to play your ipod or iphone this is a great buy. I can turn it up pretty loud with no static or feedback from the speakers but if you are looking for something to blast everyone out at the beach, I suggest you keep looking.
