(More customer reviews)I bought this searching for a dock for Ipad2. I guess that the connection is not optimized for this device because it is always needing constant pressure (ie physical force) to keep it connected during bumpy roads. My daughters Ipod Nano worked well on that note. The rubber bumpers on the back melted off in 90 degree weather and I had it sitting in my cup holder and when I closed it the USB connector was pinched and cracked. I'd like to return it soon
