(More customer reviews)This radio is unsuitable for use in a motor vehicle, as far as I can tell. I went through TWO of them, and both of them SHUT THEMSELVES OFF and FORGET EVERYTHING in the presence of ANY electrical noise. Since the intended application is Marine, one would think that this radio would be at least as robust as a CAR radio, but it's much, much, worse. DO NOT BUY THIS RADIO unless you are confident that you have a VERY LOW NOISE electrical environment. (My qualifications: Masters in Electrical Engineering from Cornell and many many years working with vehicle electrical systems.) I'd give zero stars but Amazon won't let you give less than one star.
