(More customer reviews)Nice well designed phone. Very easy to program. Takes 3 AA batteries for memory presets. I purchased two of these phones, one for my grandparents who promptly dropped the phone on the kitchen floor ejecting the batteries thereby erasing all the pre-programmed numbers that I had entered. Battery cover needs to be taped down to prevent this, as battery cover does not close well (Panasonic could have designed a better battery cover into this phone as they have with other models).
Phone has nicely sized buttons, loud ringer and well functioning speakerphone feature as well as a headset jack. Receiver cord is a bit short but can easily be replaced with a longer one. Will review again as the phones age.

The Panasonic KX-TS105W corded phone combines flexible features, sturdy construction, and a value price. Jupiter Jack Review

(More customer reviews)I recently ordered the Jupiter Jack and was excited to use it because I am on the road all the time. It definitely does what it says it does just not very well. I live in DC and on just about every dial we have a radio station which is not good for the jupiter jack trying to steal the frequency. Both station it has you use are close to very powerful stations here so even though you are not on the same frequency they still come through. I am not here to say I am dissapointed in the product I just wish it was a little stronger. I am sure it would probably work in a more rural area where there are not as many stations but for DC it is not the best choice.

No problems with sound fading, etc. typically experienced on a regular business phone while talking. This was a very good purchase and investment to have because its cost is a little more than a regular business telephone. Great for meetings or for conference calls.

Meet all your teleconferencing needs with the full-duplex Polycom SoundStation EX, which includes two external microphones for extra coverage--ideal for medium- to large-sized rooms. With conventional, half-duplex speakerphones, only one party can speak at a time without clipping off the other party's voice. Echoes and howling can further disrupt your conversations and lead to costly misunderstandings. But because of the SoundStation's full-duplex operation, you can speak naturally and hear both sides of the conversation clearly.
The SoundStation EX ensures high sound quality with three microphones and a digitally tuned speaker for 360-degree coverage of an office or conference room. This EX model also has two external microphones on either side of the console for more than double the coverage of standard conference phones.
