(More customer reviews)I'm just a gramma, but I got it going. I could not use the earphone jack, which is an option on this wireless set, because the jack is broken. I tried every red and white audio plug on the tv, Samsung LCD. None worked. I guess every plug on the tv back is audio in, not out. I decided to take a chance on the cable set top box and found audio out there, as it should be. I plugged in to those, turned the earphones off, then on, pressed reset, and the earphones found the tv without touching scan. For my setup I had to mute the tv and use volume control on the earphones.
As for the quality, not so great. Comfort, not so great. You can walk from room to room and still receive, but there is some signal loss when turning your head. For $15 dollars, it'll do for now to not disturb the family.
