(More customer reviews)I had this personal cassette player for little over a year. Unfortunately, after dropping it the headphone connection shorts (even though I bought new earbuds). While it lasted, the sound was good and no problems with the functions. Wish they could have developed a player that could withstand shocks. (Forget Walkman Shock players, more $$ and they're junk.) Looks like cassette players are passe. Too bad, because I listen to books-on-tape.

(More customer reviews)I really urge everyone to stay far away from this product if you value your cassettes. The one I purchased mangled the first cassette I put in (an irreplaceable one - how could I have been so silly as to put it in without testing the player?). In any case, this product really is a piece of junk. But then, you get what you pay for.
I do want to add that amazon came through for me.
