(More customer reviews)I really urge everyone to stay far away from this product if you value your cassettes. The one I purchased mangled the first cassette I put in (an irreplaceable one - how could I have been so silly as to put it in without testing the player?). In any case, this product really is a piece of junk. But then, you get what you pay for.
I do want to add that amazon came through for me.

(More customer reviews)The CD and iPod player broke after 2 months. While still under warranty, you have to pay $10 to get it repaired in addition to paying the shipping. While the customer service person was very friendly, there was no relaxing these policies even though it only worked for a short time. These extra charges are considerable as a percentage of the purchase and the player is certainly no bargain now in addition to the inconvenience. I do not plan to buy Coby products in the future.

(More customer reviews)The positives: Sound is great, ipod input jack is well designed with various inserts to match different ipods, and controlling the ipod from the remote is a fun feature. Small enough to transport with ease.
The negatives: 2 simple features were not well thought out. 1) The radio is nearly impossible to use, as there is no display (digital or otherwise), so one cannot know where one is on the dial. 2) Oddly enough, the remote control could be used to navigate the ipod, a fun but a completely necessary feature, but cannot do the more useful action of adjusting the volume of the speakers.
