(More customer reviews)I wanted a CD/Cassette player for my Chevy truck. Yup, you know if you're a GM or Chrysler owner, there's not much out there in 1.5 DIN and who wants a 1.0 DIN with faceplate surround?
First major complaint: the CD skips like crazy from the slightest bump, even on slightly rough freeways.
Second complaint: too bright, can't turn down the lights on the face at night and it is very distracting.
What's happened to Jensen? They used to make a good product.
I'm looking for a replacement but so far nothing's out there.

(More customer reviews)If I could give this radio negative stars I would. I enjoyed this radio for 2 weeks! Then I put my boat in the water with my new MP3 playing radio with a new waterproof cover. Apparently the salt air was to much for this state of the art marine radio. It stopped working after 2 weeks!!!! Marine radio not so much. Where is the special coating mentioned in the description. Complete rip off!

(More customer reviews)I purchased this several months ago and it works beautifully with my 3rd generation iPod and 1st generation iPod Nano. I have the power hard wired to 12+ so it will charge when the ignition is off and the RCA output goes into my head unit's AUX.Sadly it does not allow audio output from the iPhone, but it will charge the battery at least. Great product, great price, would recommend.

(More customer reviews)The only real downside to this product, is no /mp3 playback from CD. However, it does come with an AUX 3.5mm adapter to plug your .mp3 player into so I guess that sort of makes up for it. The 2-way motorized face is really cool, but you know what they say about moving parts...
It also did not open/close correctly, I had to work it in a little, like the mechanism was fresh and just didn\\\'t want to budge. But after a day of helping it along, it works flawless now. It puts out great sound and overall is just fun to use and play around with.
I have it hooked up to 2 10\\\" JL W1 subs and 2 6\\\" Pheonix Gold door speakers through a Sony Xplod Amp.
A pretty decent product I got from Wal*Mart for $119.99 that can\\\'t be beat for the price, then again... with mobile audio you do get what you pay for!

(More customer reviews)Frankly nobody seems to care that most alarm clocks are complete eyesores. Teac comes out with this wonderful effort, including a backup rechargeable battery. However there is one major problem that seems to be cropping up everywhere nowadays:
The LED display! This thing barely has any contrast, so you really can't see it well at night. Also, even at the dim setting, it is like a flashlight. Instead of using a nice LED display with simple brightness settings, you get this indistinct display that lights up your whole room.
Teac, please put an LED display on this thing. The styling is great. The button placement is fine. As is, unless you wear a night mask, I really can't recommend this clock radio.

Boss 765DBI In-Dash Solid State MP3 Receiver with Internal iPod Docking Station Review

(More customer reviews)As described on the website, this receiver looked perfect for my needs: built in bluetooth compatible with my iPhone, and a hidden iPod connection, which means no ugly wires dangling from the front of my dashboard to hook up my tunes. iPod is controllable from the front panel -- also what I wanted. Great that it had a radio, but I like to listen to the iPod and make/receive phone calls; no need for a CD player (which this unit does not have).
Unfortunately, the iPod interface is really pretty awful. I have hundreds of albums on my iPod, and there is no way to search through them other than alphabetically, and that requires turning the knob on the front of the unit. No acceleration to get you there faster. Can't search by composer, (although you can search by playlist, genre, artist, album or song) which would have been nice as I am a classical music fan. The WORST feature, however, is that the unit drops the first second of every track as it starts playing, which is totally unacceptable. I've packaged it back up and am returning it.
Oh, and the display is unbelievably coarse-- looks like maybe 100 pixels on the whole thing; the result is blocky letters reminiscent of early 80's electronics. Not worthy of the $150 pricetag.

Tried to call toll free number for Pyle and got answering machine but couldn't leave a message as it was full. I hope this is not a bad sign! Sent email to company but not heard back from them yet. Plan to install this week and hope it works.

(More customer reviews)We are very pleased with purchasing this product. We didn't want anything high tech with high price tag. We are very impressed with the sound. Even with just the 2 speakers that came with unit, we can easily hear stereo with boat running. We are going to be adding 2 more speakers to get an extra punch, but 2 are quite adequate. We were disappointed after initial installation, because stereo would cut out on us everytime we were out on the lake, after short time of usage. After seeing other reviews, it looks as though others have had similiar problems, and just hated the thought of removing from boat and sending back.So, after further thought, my husband decided to make one last attempt to make it work to avoid sending back. Although he was certain he had the unit grounded properly, as he's installed more than one stereo in his life time, he decided to re ground the wire. He ended up going back and tapping into the boats main grounding line, instead of running separately. This stereo has NOT cut out on us since, and so please with the performance since. We have listened to it for hours a day, many days in a row, with absolutely no problems. MAKE SURE UNIT IS GROUNDED PROPERLY! If nothing else, tap into existing grounding line. The only regret we do have is purchasing a cheap $5 antenna with it, which does not do the job well enough on the lake. So that will be another purchase for us when we get 2 additional speakers. I would recommend this product to anyone!
